Default Maximum download size??

Please Login to Remove!

I tried to open and/or download an attachment that was 4 MB and i was surprised to get a message saying "exceeds maximum download size of 2.9MB"

this is kind of disappointing. anyone know a way around this?

You can't load anything larger than 2.86mb to the device INTERNAL MEMORY. To load larger files, you must put them onto a microSD expansion card.

Been that way for quite a while.

Is it an email attachment or a download link from the web?

There's a third party app called MediaPOP that will download email attachments 5-6 MB.

However, I'm not sure if you will be able to play the avi even if you can download it.
