Good evening folks...

I apologize if this has been answered somewhere here already... I don't seem to be having much luck with my searches.

I currently own a 8310 Curve (ATT)
My wife currently owns a 8130 Pearl (VZW)

We only have one PC in our household... and when reading the OS upgrade instructions, I understand that I have my own download/install and she has her own download install. What I am slightly confused about is the upgrade process.

I was able to upgrade my Curve without issue to the latest OS. While downloading the latest OS for my wife, I noticed that the instructions for each OS utilizes the same c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader directory. Am I going to run into any conflict when trying to upgrade her phone... or does her download simply replace all information in this directory?

You will not run into any conflicts, but any time you install an OS, for any model, the Vendor.xml file goes to that same place, so you will need to delete it.

If you look in ...\research in motion\shared\ you will see the folders for the different OS's
