Not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but here goes...

We have a Verizon Wireless Business account with over 100 mobile numbers.

I am looking at eligibility dates for equipment upgrades, and I see two different dates for each mobile number. They are "Upgrade Eligibility Date" and "NE2 Date (New Every Two)". Does anyone know the difference?

Many of the dates are the same, many are different by about 2 months. And a few are different by close to a year.

Usually a regular upgrade is new subscriber price every year. NE2 is 100.00 off a new phone every two years. Or 50.00 off depending what plan your on.

being eligible for an upgrade just means you can change phones early at a discounted price. As zero46 said NE2 gives the primary line on the account $100 off a new phone and $50 off for the other lines on the account.

Don't forget every time you use those discounts, you're signing up for another 2 year contract. I love verizon, been with them for years, but that part always bothers me a little.

I know Verizon has also changed the NE2 date from 22 months to 20 months. Maybe some phones are under the 22 months deal and others are under the 20 months deal.
