Default leaving sprint- any words of advice

Please Login to Remove!

Well after several dropped calls around my office and where i travel for work, it looks like i will have to leave and go to verizon. I am doing so sadly. I really liked the se plan w/ gps and all. Does anyone have anything news of sprints future service to help convince me to stay. I was counting on sprint building 3 new towers in my area. At least that was showing up on the maps. Now with the latest news of Sprint selling their towers and renting them makes me think they may never go active. If anyone thinks their svc will get better, speak now or forever hold your peace. :hee: Thanks

Ya, that was what I was saying.

"Yes. That is correct. There will be growth in the spring."

If Sprint doesn't work for you, then you definately need to go with what does work for you. I wouldn't mind having a GSM device that would give me a better battery, but AT&T and T-Mobile don't work where I live and work, so no dice.

The best 'everything' plan in the world isn't worth much if you can't use it.

Before going to Verizon or AT&T, don't forget to watch this video: Veringular: We're Dropping Your Calls On Purpose And There Isn't **** You Can Do About It :P

My parents and I dealt with bad reception at our house with T-Mobile for about three years, and it was last year that someone put a tower so that we get almost all our bars. I like T-Mobile... they have good service and they are quite liberal with their phones.

I left Sprint/Nextel after 8 yrs because of bad cell service along with poor customer service. I'm now at T-Mobile and have not had any issues.

I vote T-Mobile. They tend to have cheaper plans (note: that statement is entirely dependent on what you are looking for in your plan) and if there is poor reception in your area, there is always the option for a wi-fi enabled Blackberry and the H@H $10/mo add-on.

I agree, t-mobile will provide you with great quality service for the best price. Best bang for the buck.

Despite what anyone states above you'll need to find a new carrier with coverage where you need it (TMO's not going to work for everyone). Not all carriers have excellent coverage everywhere. Make the most of your trial period(s) with your new carrier(s).

ever since the merger, Nextel service has gone way downhill as if to say we are Sprint's unwanted step children. for this reason we are moving about 30 of our users to AT&T within the next few weeks.
