Default Can't view mobile.blackberry.com with wifi

Please Login to Remove!

I do not have data plan, so I do not have blackberry browser on my 8120.
When I visit mobile.blackberry.com with HotSpot browser or T-Mo browser, It tells me that it is designed for Blackberry browser.

Is there anyway to get browser books without data plan, so at least I can still view blackberry sites via wifi?
Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (TMO 8120 4.5.0.52)

I do not believe you can. The site is designed for a BlackBerry data plan for OTA downloads.

Right! There is no access to special BB designed websites without a data plan and in my opinion a BB makes no sense without a data plan

I believe that pizza is the main atribute here.
@OP: I think that you surely can

All I want is just the free games :D My wife doesn't really need the data plan now, especially with slow T-Mo service. I would much rather get Shadow and use $5.99 internet service. Believe me they all add up.

Is there anyway for me to save the .jad files on my Curve (I have data plan) then transfer them to my wife's Pearl. Or how about I download and host those .jad files on another site, then browse to it from Pearl via WiFi?

You can only install OTA from the BlackBerry browser. You would have to download the two pieces of the file one is a JAD and one is COD. It takes both to do an OTA install.

If you really want to have fun you could use JavaLoader to extract the COD files from your BlackBerry and then install them via JavaLoader to the other BlackBerry.

or even better call T-Mobile, add the BlackBerry data plan for 1 day, (60 cents). Download all you want and cancel it.
