Default Facebook & Blackberry - Compressed pics?

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed that when I upload pics from my BB via the facebook app they look grainy and low quality, but when I connect the phone to a USB and transfer the pics that way, they look fine.

Is there a way to change the quality that the pics upload to fb at via the app?
Or is there an alternative way to send the pics to fb? (I know with my iphone I could just email the pics to [email address] directly from my phone and they would upload) but I tried this with the BB and I got a reply from FB saying "Sorry, we cannot support uploads sent via email. You sent from GMail. If you are sending from a phone, it must be configured to send directly"

Anyone have any ideas?

I noticed that too and just dealt with it. My guess is the size limit, so it probably re-sizes and lowers the quality. Wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong though...

Go into your browser and hit Menu>Options>General Properties (Is your Image quality set to high?) It will run slower if you change it from low or medium.

Image quality is set to medium.
It's not the viewing of the images from the bb that is the problem, the images upload to facebbok at a lower quality then they are on the phone.
They are low quality and look grainy when I access them from a computer to view them on fb, but when I transfer through USB then upload the same image looks 20x better.

it doesn't seem to matter what image size or quality- it just way over-compresses them either way
