I have been running YouMail for the past few weeks, and I have mixed feelings about it. The latest issue is a deal breaker. After missing a call, I am receiving the vmail email notifications ... 6 hours later! I am happily receiving emails of other sorts, along with calls and SMS. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

The funny (or sad depending on your perspective) thing about this issue was I thought my phone wasn't ringing when the calls were coming in. I changed everything I could think of, battery pulls galore, and was within sniffing distance of an OS reload. Then I thought it best to return the phone call first, only to learn that the client's issue was solved 5 hours earlier, an hour after they called me.

I had that problem once today, the text notification a few hours after the fact. But it's the only time it has happened in the couple weeks I've been using youmail, so hopefully it's only a temporary glitch.

My YouMail yesterday was a little behind also, I'm sure it will be back to normal shortly.

BTW, I think it takes quite a bit longer if you have transcription enabled.

No transcription service for me, and my notifications are still 45 minutes behind today, a huge improvement over the 6 hour delay yesterday.

My notifications are fine today though my device isnt ringing all the time with .52 installed. Might have to downgrade at this rate. Yesterday my notifications were many hours behind. And i would get 3-4 at one time.

Some of my emails batched yesterday, and 3 would hit at the same time. Today however they are all sequentially late, message left, and the email notification is 40 minutes late and it travels alone.

I too was experiencing major delays yesterday . Just tested and the voice mail arrived about 3 minutes after I left it. Hopefully this won't be a reoccurring issue, that would be a deal killer for me!

Does anyone have an update whether this is going to be fixed or not? I love YouMail but I can't deal with delayed notifications because I use my BlackBerry strictly for business. :mad:

I vave been using youmail for about 8 weeks. I have not had any issues untill yesterday. Today everything seems fine...

I have received my last 3 notifications within 5 minutes of the missed call. Things have returned to normal.

I have a question about YouMail...i just set it up today and am doing my official test run of it...

Is it normal for the transcription email to arrive 20-40 minutes after the call? The MWI shows up 3-5 minutes after a call...

These are obviously not normal... I know i am asking a lot, but i'd expect BOTH notifications w/in 1-2 minutes of receiving the voicemail....What is the TYPICAL delay?
