I actually managed to get an exception through my company to have Blackberry Internet Service enabled on the handheld's firewall... all the service books came down and problem solved.

Text (SMS) messages don't say who they are from on my 8350i.

On my Nextel 8350i, incoming SMS messages only display the phone number of the sender, not who it's from.

Now, I can open the message and select the number and it will say "Call _______" which...

What I'm saying is, I don't think I have BIS. Our web traffic seems to go through our own servers (because pages which are blocked at work are also blocked on my Blackberry.)
