sprintel is considering adding a voice dialing for the BB but it will be for a fee. isnt it always?? it will do some extra cool things though too not just dial. for example you could voice activate...

did your admin give you a password? you have to get the pswd via email to activate. as long as this was provided you should be able to go into enterprise avtivation icon and put in your corp email...

if none of the above advise worked for you......also make sure you have all caps NXTL this should let you know if something is not working. if you have any lower case (nxtl) you should call into BB...

turning off your messages...

If you go into the phone mode >options>push to talk>then turn phone only to yes. this will turn off your PTT as well as your email messages.
