It helps to save battery life. Leaving it on all the time will cut down on battery life. Goto options then screen/keyboard to set the back light time.

Make sure you don't have the battery in the BB. It may be ok after it has dried for 4 or 5 days in a warm place with the battery removed. They will know because the BB has water markers on battery...

I have read some threads on another blackberry forum website that talked about users having trouble with wifi and bluetooth. The wifi tends to override the bluetooth signal.

Just call t-mobile and have them reset the vm icon. I had the same problem and the rep rest the icon. After that it went away.
