jl_cmder is based on the DOS program javaloader. I don't believe there is a Mac version. Sorry.

Hello,

It looks like doesn't work for Windows Vista. The installation shows a window with title "PCOM32" and appears the installation script code.

I am not working with an administrator user.

Can you review it? Thanks!

i just downloaded it with vista and works just fine but if you dont have administrative accesses you can not ''run as administrator" so that would be your problem.

Default Big problem on Bold 9700

Hi - i have run JL-Cmder on my new Bold 9700.
If i reset to factory options - everything boots up ok but i have lost BB Tasks, BB Safe and all the Office software.
If i try "Wipe" in JL-Cmder i get the same result.
interestingly, if i then pluf the device into my PC, run DM and go to Application Loader i get "No software is available for this device". Must be a clue! Any help hugely welcome - i`m not sure what else to try.

First thing - have you downloaded and installed the latest version of the Handheld OS for the 9700.

Then go in and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC C: drive.

Restart Desktop Manager and Application Loader.

It should come up, and you can check the boxes next to the missing software.

What were you trying to accomplish? Removing the IT policy? Wiping the device? We need more details to answer your question.

To get your Browser icon back, go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Menu Key > Register Now.

From what I read there's no mac version. Is there a program like this one for mac? It's my last hope for my 8900. Will do search elsewhere too and post back if I find something.

When I download and try to run the program, the program flashes on, and then turns off. Am I missing something?

First, please do not use that language on this forum. Edit your post and I'll supply you with the answer you need.

What is the password on the device?

Does it include numbers? If so, it probably isn't numbers. If it is 1234, the password is actually wers. That is unless you're pressing the Alt key when putting the password on the device.

You will need to know the exact password for JL_Cmder to work. Once you get it, then follow these steps:

Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

Thank you.

Use the link jsconyers so kindly provided you. Get rid of the IT policy and you will no longer need to enter a password.
