my charger has died and want to know if my camera charger will be okto charge my battry
i have the original blackberry charger and its power output is 5v 700ma
the charger i want to use is for my samsung camera and its output is 5v 550 ma
is this ok to use or should i just buy a new charger?
not to bothered that it may take longer to charge just don;t want to fry the battery

That may not be enough current to charge the BB; use one that is 750-1000 ma and it will charge properly. The camera charger will not fry the BB - it just may not charge it properly (or quickly enough).

thanks, so i will buy one on ebay as long as its 5v and between 700ma and 1000ma?

I wouldn't buy one less than 850ma. 750 could be OK. I use chargers up to 1200ma and they are fine.

bought a charger on ebay, was a geniune blackberry charger, the pic on ebay said its output was 5v 750ma, it arrived today, and although it is a geniune blackbery the back of the plug stats output to be 5v 2a????? any ideas

That is a Playbook charger. Will work fine.
