Default Icon Change On Notification

Hi All

I am developing an application ,its a server-client base application , The server need send push message to the device . And the device need to change the App icon when it gets the push message .i dont knoe how to register the blackberry app on device to get the Push message

Pls help me out on the same issue .

Do u have any small sample project for this , i am not able to understand the process,and how can i invoke a background thread

No I don't have small sample projects. If you are not able to understand the process then you aren't ready to start programming at that level yet. You need to push yourself up the learning curve. Two good resources are:
BlackBerry - Developer Video Library
Livelink - Redirection

Set the value of RIM_MIDLET_FLAG appropriately (system + autostart -> 3) in order to get your application running in background.
