My six month old German Shepherd puppy ate my Pearl lastnight. So this will make my 8th device since January, this one being the only dog related one. I have decided to go with the 8700g for my replacement. I am having terrible withdrawls and will not get the new one for 2 or 3 days. Aggghhhh!

Kat, good choice for your Pearl-eating shepherd. I am betting the 8700 will be more difficult for him to "pass" should he eat it as well.

A tired dog is a good dog. Exercise. Also, smart dogs are more trouble. They need mental activity as well as physical. And hide that new 8700g out of reach.

As the owner of German Shepherds almost all my life. I feel your pain. Never lost a blackberry, but a laptop, carpet, and a couch have met their demise along the way. I love them but they can be "the dog from Hell" as puppies.
As I type this, our most recent (and ythe worst) destructive Shepherd is laying at my feet, calm and content.
They do get better.
