Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I would not recommend it. Sprint did not do the upgrade yet?

I'm almost 99% sure you can use this on Sprint.

You can, I put it on my Sprint 8830. Once you install the new OS to your machine, and run Desktop Manager, all the data on your device will be saved and then wiped, and once the new OS is installed, your data will be restored. I've had it on since the day it was released, and the only difference I can find is more file space. A lot of the .cod files in the Java folder are smaller in size.

Yes, you can use the Verizon OS on Sprint. All OS's are developed by RIM for the individual devices and then released by the carriers.
