Default Application Install Icon missing ... can't install software...

Please Login to Remove!

This happened to me a few weeks ago too. The Application Launcher icon on my Desktop disappeared but at the time I found info online right away how to get things working again.... but I can't find it now ....

I went to the Blackberry folder to find the Application Loader .exe file but its not there either.

So I have now just downloaded the latest version of Rim's Desktop Software and going to maybe try that.

I hate to do that because then right away all my info gets duplicated when I do a hotsync... this happened last time I re-installed the desktop software.

Anyone know why the icon goes missing and how to prevent it from happening again?

Thanks.
