On Friday, I upgraded my Desktop Manager by downloading and installing Blackberry Desktop Software v4.2 Service Pack 2 (7130c). Then when I did my first sync, all appointments, tasks, and addresses now show up twice on both by PC and my BB. In fact, I had been syncing two calendars from my PC to my BB before, but after the sync, it put all appointments from both calendars onto calendar 1 (and deleted from calendar 2) on my PC.

So, this morning (Monday), I thought I would give it another try. But now when I try to sync, it begins the calendar syncing process, but then goes to a "red X" error "Unexpected error found (cause unknown)".

Very frustrated, especially since the previous version was working fine.

What should be my next step?

I assume I have stumped the band (or at least myself)!

After multiple error messages, I uninstalled DM 4.2, re-installed DM 4.1 from my original CD, deleted the duplicated Addresses (on the BB), re-synced, and everything updated/corrected perfectly.

So, I guess I'm going to be "stuck" forever with my current DM, and OS (at least until I buy a new BB down the road).
