I'll be getting the Red Pearl from AT&T soon, and I will need to unlock it, how did you obtain the unlock code for it?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Ed--go to Options > Advanced > SIM Card. Read here how to unlock, scroll to link "How do I unlock my BlackBerry?".

RD--if not from your carrier, purchase an unlock code from a vendor, such as www.gsmphonesource.com. Read the link above.

try here man:

Unlock BlackBerry IMEI Unlocking

via IMEI unlock code is the easiest....but they have a remote software unlock method there too, so you don't have to send your phone in.
