I am currently running BES 3.6 on 2003 with Exchange 2003 . I am going to install BES 4.0 onto a new 2003 server and Cut over to the new server . Is there anything I need to look out for ? ... Apparently there is a Knife edge cut over PDF document from Blackberry.com ? ..Does anyone have a link to this document ? ..

please do a search in the future. this is a fairly common question.

keep your BES service account mailbox the same. keep your SRP Identifier the same. keep your SRP Auth Key the same. keep your BES server name (the virtual server not the physical server) the same. do not have the servers up on the same SRP at the same time (go ahead and set the services on the 3.6 server to manual just in case you make a mistake and boot the old server up on the network by accident).

aside from that, you should have no issues.

quick question..

during the upgrade will the bb's loose connectivity? and don't i have to upgrade the handhelds first before they can perform enterprise activation?

Just trying to get a grip..before I begin..dont want to be caught out there..
