Default Kinda surpised about no 8300 on sale yet

Please Login to Remove!

I am still not seeing a single 8300 on eBay yet. Usually someone would have been selling a new Vodo on eBay. If Cingular/AT&T delivers on Friday, there will be little need.

Best of luck everyone, hope this week is it!

There were some O2 8300's that appear to have been pulled (or they sold off quickly).

I'm surprised too. I thought with the UK release, there would be some on the US ebay site by now. Interesting...

I just recieved my 8300 from O2 today. Not very happy with it. Im a very big fan with the 8700 build quality with the plastic holster. I guess i just have to get used to this leather holster and this fragile device. I better not drop this phone huh lol

Default O2 unlocking?

How was O2 to deal with when you asked them to unlock the phone? Did you purchase the phone directly from them or from UK eBay?

Let us know how the unlocking process goes, please.

I already ordered and received the swivel belt leather holster directly from RIM. They have and are shipping the 8300 holster now. It is my favorite so I ordered early.

The pouch is kinda a girl thing and have no need for it. I want to be able to holster and remove from the holster with ease. My past Blackberrys were too hard to remove from the holster and would, within a week, create cosmetic damage to the device. I would have to grip the device so hard to be able to pull it frree from the plastic holster and if it slipped while gripping this hard could send it flying across the room!

Wow ok , i have a special "friend" in london who ordered it for me. She has an account with O2. i will take the pics for u guys tonite. i was going to get it unlocked through gsmphonesource but i see the due dates are in june. So i called her and we did a three way. O2 advised us that it should be unlocked within 24hrs. I even asked if it was still possible since the phone is currently in the US and they said yes., Honestly i dont like this 8300, and yes mike i will most likely be selling it. Im not a big fan on the cam. Hopefully tmo will have wifi. Oh and i need someone to help me post the pics.
