I just changed to Windows Vista Buisness. Downloaded newest version of DM. Now everytime I try to sync the unit shows to connect but none of the icons will work on DM so I can't sync with my outlook. Any help

make sure that the connection setting is to USB. on your computer go to options> connection settings> then if it says 'none' or 'com 1' change it to 'USB'.

I have done that and those settings are ok. DM recognizes the device and it shows connected but no features will work. It seems to lockup up the DM. When I disconnect the cord it will let you access the features.

what version of DTM are you runing? Donwload 4.2 SP1 and that should be fine. I have been runing it on Vista since Vista's release

Are you logged into Vista as an administrator?

I have Vista and I have no issues. I even downloaded the newest software for my phone through the DM, and no problems at all.

That has nothing to do with it, you can be logged in as administrator, but if you have user account control off, DM won't work...

This is a write up I did a while back. If you follow these steps you will without a doubt get your device to work. Not everyone has had to do every step but some people have to.

From the sounds of it though you have everything except making sure that UAC is ON. If not it DM will not work.
