I'm almost afraid to ask...Can a charger for a Moto Razor be used to charge an 8700? Both share common USB type connectors, and the batteries are similar in form. I do have the charger that came with the 8700, but I also have a plethora of chargers for razors, and it would be a shame to toss them if I didn't have to.

Yup. I'm using a $2 cable I got off of eBay for an HTC TyTN -- works great. Mini-USB should be the standard connector on ALL phones!

Yes - I have both phones, and I have used the RAZR charger to charge my Blackberry.

But you can not use a BB charger on a RAZR....

I do think I might have burnt out a RAZR while I was in Europe, using an 8125 charger through a plug adapter, to charge my RAZR.
