Default Battery not charging

Please Login to Remove!

Not much else to say. My battery just isn't charging now. It's plugged into the travel charger that comes with the Pearl. Never had any problems until now. The wall jack works for sure. Anyone seen this? Very frustrating because I don't want it to be dead in the am.

Have you tried any other outlets in the house/building?

are you getting good physical contact between the prongs on the charger and the wall socket? If theres any play or not a solid contact, gently bend the prongs outward and see if that gives you better contact.

Prob the prongs in your phone are not making contact with the usb cable. Take it back to the store and get it replaced under warranty.

It looks like the device itself is just broken (yes, that's the technical term - broken). I swapped batteries w/ a coworker and mine charges fine on his; his doesn't charge on mine. I'm getting a replacement. Very disappointing; I had very high thoughts of the Pearl as it's been rock-solid since I got it.

Thanks all of you for your help.

Are you sure it isn't the charger?
I'm thinking there is a greater possibility of the charger going bad then the pearl.

Thoughts?

Can always try charging it from a PC via a USB cable. That will rule out the charger.

Yeah tried that to no avail. And I used the charger on my coworkers phone w/ my battery and it charged with no problems.
