Default Has anybody tried an internal antenna booster?

Please Login to Remove!

Have quite a few areas where I have 2 bars wondering if this would help boost the signal. Here is a quote for the product on how it works.
The internal antenna has magnetic properties that capture stray Electro-magnetic waves and redirects it to your phone's own antenna.

I am not smart enough to know if that would work or not, but I was a little concerned about it having magnetic properties knowing the Blackberry 7100t has a magnet in it and that is how the holster profiles work. Thought someone out there could set this straight for me and others. Below is a link to the product.

Thanks for any input.

Exclamation Snake Oil

The antenna is the most important element of the RF portion of a wireless device. Don't waste your time/money on something that will not make an iota of difference.

These devices remind me of the "passive" antennas that they used to sell, for use with the older analog phones (tried one, didn't work).
I got one of these free with a $5 case I bought for my 7280 (off ebay). I put it on my Kyocera 7135, and the only difference was that I had a sticker on my battery door that made no difference in reception.
I wouldn't waste any money on these.
