hey people me again!

i searched and nothing

i am looking for a app that will let me organize my emails better... i would like to be able to file certain emails into specific folders, like emails from my women i would like to have a folder for it and same goes for work emails...

anyone know of a program?

None. Email is strictly a "RIM Only" domain, and the reason of their business prowess. Its a no-no world for developers. No APIs, no nothing!

Closed gardens you see - 3rd party devs. are not allowed to do much there.

ok well did RIM develope anything that will let you file emails? cuz its kinda clutered and i like to be organised so...

I'd love to give it a try. Do you have a trial? Also, does it makes separate folders for mails or just tag them to retrieve later? Another thing I see on your site is of some encrypted emails - it looks like an interesting concept. Is it fit to be used in enterprise deployments? Is it stable?

yeah i tried it today and its not really what i am looking for.... to bad tho, yeah i'm looking for a app that will take it out of my inbox and put it in another folder...

tho tagit seems interesting i may give it a little longer to see if i like it... but yeah

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for and it isn't pretty, but it does work.

If you are using BIS and you have a MSN account you can use MSN Mobile and use the mail application to move messages to different folders within MSN. Google has a nice mail application but google doesn't use folders. You might also try yahoo. But with the basic BB, you're probably out of luck.

True. As I said, no-no-NO go area for developers! Its good with 4 emails and 3 messages, but anything more than that, and it confuses you big time!

BOOO this sucks... RIM should develope something to try and keep it organised... to bad tho... RIMs losing alot of money not making this problem...

how come developers cant touch email? i dont understand why, could someone please explain. thanks

Speaking of Email, is there any way to tag all Email for deletion, or mark it all as read? Because that would be very useful...

There are two menu items in the message list window - Delte Prior, and Mark Read Prior - which will delete/mark read all the mails prior to your current selection.

yes, we provide a trial version and you can get it at www.link-two.com/bb.html. Regarding TagIt! - currently it allows you just to assign tags to e-mails, but folders are the next thing we'd like to implement.
And regarding secretmail - it is still in an early stage, but it will be improved soon.

I've been using Idea Matrix for about a year now and it is a great application, however, I never used it in this way.

Can you explain how you file your emails using Idea Matrix. It has me intrigued as I am still using BIS 1.8 so I can keep my folders.

Rick, easy - you get a mail. You want to file it. Click the wheel, select "Inject into ideaMatrix", scroll to the folder you want and hit Enter. The "inject" option came with the last software up-date. Make sure you have the latest version.

I've also been using Ideamatrix and Todomatrix together with their server. These are the best applications I've seen for the bb yet. bar none. really. I'm surprised the buzz around them isn't bigger.
