Default Mail Connector Acting Funny

Please Login to Remove!

When I first bought the 7130c three weeks ago, the Mail Connector found my information, and I began receiving multiple emails right away. Since I can get my emails at an exchange website, it's set up that way, and I have to leave my PC on.

Yesterday, I just stopped receiving emails. I finally unistalled and reinstalled Mail Connector, and I started receiving emails. But, then it stopped again. Last night at around 7pm, I then received 4 emails that had been sent between 5pm and 6pm.

There were 4 emails this morning that had downloaded successfully, but it now appears that I receiving some, but not all.

Any ideas?

Mail Connector and Redirector are both pretty flakey in my experience. Is there no way to use BIS or BES?

I am using BIS. When it tried unsuccessfully to connect, it had me download Mail Connector.

Is there another way?

(followup and recurring problem) About 10 days ago, I deleted my email account from the BB, and deleted Mail Connector.

I then went back in to set up the account all over again, and it said it could not be set up, and that I should install Mail Connector (just like it had instructed me the first time).

So, I re-ran Mail Connector, and it successfully found my Outlook profile, and successfully set my account back up.

Everything was working fine for about 10 days, and then all of a sudden, no email to the BB again. I've turned the BB off and back on, turned the PC off and back on, and still no luck. Had a storm in the area last night, but I'm assuming that shouldn't make any difference.

I love the BB, but is there a better way to set up my email account? I'm on Cingular BIS, 7130c, and my email account resides on an Exchange website. My PC has to stay on to receive emails.
