I'm thinking about getting a 7100t. I just have one quick, stupid question...how do you go about dialing numbers like 1-800-FLOWERS? Do you just have to remember where the letters are on a normal touchtone phone, or is there some on-board app that'll help you?

I love this site btw. W/o it, I would never have realized how useful a BB can be. I used to think it was just yuppie jewelry. Time to kiss my Dell Axim X30H/ SE T610 combo goodbye.

this bit me once before, too, when i had to call directv from the cell, since my tivo was having dialing trouble.

someone (in actual possession of so-called "free time") oughta cook up a little letter-dialer app, that lets you punch in the letters, then does the conversion and dials the actual number for you.

(my 10-week-old daughter says "that ain't gonna be you, daddy!" *sigh*)

C'mon guys - read the Stickies. Seriously.
To dial an alpha (1 800 FLOWERS), hold the ALT key and press the letter. It works.

(up/down arrow on the bottom left of the keypad) then type the letter in multi-tap (won't let you type in sure-type).
