Hi,

Since few days ago one of my users complain tha email from one of our customers (domain) never forwarded to blackberry device. I cheked on BES 4.0, he has the same filtering rules, forward everything except delivery notification. On the desktop manager also still the same, there is no rule on his outlook profile.

Anybody has similar problem?

Did the user file the message(s) received from that customer into a folder upon receipt?
Are these the only messages not been redirected to the handheld?
Was the user out-of-coverage when those messages were received in email client Inbox? Or did the user turn-off their wireless radio during that period?
Are there any other users that receive messages from this customer on their BB devices?
Has the user requested a repeat message from the customer to confirm there's a problem?

The message still unread in inbox, there is no rule in outook.

Any emails from that domain are not forwarded. I can't say if there was no coverage when he received in Outlook, but there is no pending email on BES.

Unfortunately they only send email to him, I think I'll ask them to send email to me and see if the problem is for all of us or only him.

I looked at the header, they use bcc to send email. I tested internally, bcc is not redirected to Blackberry? It's weird, the filter is to redirect for BCC too.
Is this BES 4.0 bug?

What is the full version of BES 4.0 are you running?

it's fine now, I changed to "Forward all message to the device" when none of above rules apply

I believe this default filter would be dependent on if the user was bccd as a group.
