Default 7100i questions

I have a couple of questions about the BB 7100i from Sprint/Nextel that I hoped I could find solutions for before resorting to stopping by a store since it is a work phone.

1. Right now my local time is 11:21 am EST on Jan 2, I like to pull my time from the network, which is telling me it is 12:21 Jan 3. Any reason for this? Will my time properly adjust if I leave my time zone?

2. Is there any way to get rid of the GPS/TelNav icon?

3. My signal can bounce dramatically when the phone is sitting on the counter doing nothing, and is usually awful downloading data. I had a Cingular BB 8700 which was fantastic, but we don't use Cingular at this job. Is there a way to download tower updates, I think its called PRL on sprint, that do not involve having to call a support rep? I know verizon has the dial *228 to perform this.

4. When I'm keying in my password I have a bad habbit of dialing an emergency call, never had the problem on my old BB. I'm in the middle of dialing and it seemingly jumps to the EC option while I'm keying it, but I can't force it to change when I try to make it change to see what I'm doing wrong. Can this be disabled or something so I don't keep calling?

Thanks

To answer question #1 .. have you updated to the latest release of BB OS from Nextel? It should resolve this issue.

Telenev is not listed in my applications like mentioned above.
Is there a way to remove the "enterprise activation" from the screen?

RTFM!! (Read the freakin' manual!)

OK, now that I've ranted. Just push the "alt" button and the scroll wheel and a menu will pop up allowing you to choose to mover or hide the application. Easy!

(Don't tell me you don't know which one is the alt button!)
