Default opera mini 3.0 crashed

Please Login to Remove!

I was just on espn.com with the updated version of mini beta 3.0 and now the top of the screen is black and the menu bar. Pretty much just doesn't work now. I did the battery reset and still nothing. Has anyone else had any problems like this?

I wonder if you have the original beta and they have shut it down. I know I got a notice that beta-2 was available and I upgraded. I would remove the app, then install beta-2.

Shouldn't there be a .com at the end? Might be your issue.

I preface this post by saying I browse heavily on my BB (@ least 2 hours a day):

First I had Opera Mini 3 Beta v.1 running on T-Mobile 0.42. After about a week, it did the black scroll bars, menu of death thing. Uninstalled, reinstalled.

Upgraded to Opera Mini 3 Beta v.2. Same thing happened after about a week. Uninstalled, reinstalled.

A few days later, for unrelated reasons, I upgraded my BB's operating system to Moviles 0.67. I got black scroll bars about ten minutes later. Uninstalled, reinstalled.

About a week later: black scroll bars again. Uninstalled, gave up.

I'm now convinced that the Opera Mini 3.0 Beta has some pretty serious memory usage problems. People who don't browse constantly, who don't load large web pages, or who don't do other high-memory things like listen to music while they are browsing may not see this problem (or may not see it for a long time). As much as I enjoy using their browser (the interface is sweet!) I'm going to wait until they release another version before trying again. Among other things, I'm sick of constantly setting up my bookmarks.

You still have to go back to the bb browser to download stuff, so they need to tweak Opera a little more if they want it to be the main browser.

It sucks because I can't download the beta version anymore and that one is better. I think this is because they updated the beta version and you can no longer get the original beta version and the only way to get the updated beta version was at the top of the screen while on the internet.

From the Opera website for anyone with Tmobile.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I can't connect with my Blackberry device on T-Mobile USA

There is a specific setting required to enable an Intenet application on a T-Mobile BlackBerry to go out to the Web and not get routed into the BlackBerry network.

Go to "Options", then "Advanced Options", then "TCP".
Under APN, enter "wap.voicestream.com".
Leave "Username" and "Password" blank.

I just checked my Opera Mini and it is working fine BUT I need to mention that I rarely use OM now and I've been using the BB browser for almost everything except for sites not accessible via BB browser, like My T-Mobile.
