This poll would be more interesting if everyone identified how long they'd been a Blackberry user BEFORE buying the Pearl. There seems to be a large number of people who really don't know what they're buying -- and quickly dump the devices once they learn that a special data plan is required to get email and that the phones cannot be hacked readily.

I'm keeping mine even when I get the 8800. At that point I'll sell my 7105t but I'm keeping the Pearl as a spare. Sounds downright decadent and I love it!

I agree 100% it seems old school long time BB users love the pearl since we had bricks before this and the pearl has the most features ever on a blackberry and seems that with a few OS UPGRADE'S has the chance to much much more in the future!!! I cant wait to see what this BB can do in a year from now! Video recording I bet will be on the new OS from T-mobile as well as some other cool stuff. This OS was pushed out the door so fast it seems they are taking there time on the new T-mobile OS upgrade to make sure all the little bugs are fixed and some new features are added. We b*tched and RIM listened thats for sure

Can an OS update really make the camera into a camcorder? Wow, I'm excited.

KEEPING MINE!! 2 years with a 7100t and the switch to the Pearl was seamless and I love it. It does have a few little quirks that I hope they resolve with OS updates but love it nonetheless.

Keeping it for sure. It is sop nice and elegant to carry a smaller smartphone again (coming the last few years from the 8700, and various Sony Ericsson smartphones, and i-mates Windows phones). The only negative thing for me is the keyboard (size and suretype), but, I'm getting more used to it each week.

So it's settled. The Pearl is obviously amazing and those who decide to return it are either player haters or just big dorks.
