Default Anyone else able to slide the battery cover off without pushing the release?

Please Login to Remove!

If I slide up hard enough I'm able to remove it without even pushing the release...

No, all fine here...well it'll come off if I apply enough pressure but not during normal/heavy use.

Yes, unfortunately I noticed that the other day as well. It has not slid off on its own as of yet though.

Mine will also slide off without using the release button, however it releases much easier when I do press the button.

Same here, it comes off fairly easily without pushing the button. Doesn't bother me though as it hasn't come off by itself.

No problems with mine. I supposed it would slide off if I pushed it hard enough but certainly not on its own.

Wow!!!! I didn't even know there was a release button to slide the door. HA how stupid is that. When the t-mob rep put the battery in she didn't use any release and therefore I never realized it either. Glad I read this so I can save the life of the little plastic lip on the cover.

under the shinny silver cover of that release button, is a tiny CHEAP fragile .........plastic "sh*t" piece with a crapy string.........the design of this part really SUCKS big time........

the 1st phone I ordered from Amazon actually came with a broken release button....just imagine that...they did DHL'ed me a replacement though
