I dont know if this has been covered but I have to ask.
I am currently with T-mobile and have the 8700g I want to swtich to Cingular but just got my G a month back. Can I unlock it to use on the cingular plan or do I have to get a new one?
OK I just did a search. How do I unlock my 8700g to work with Cingular? Anyone help?

If you been with T-mobile for a long time and always pay your bills, you can call T-mobile to get the unlock code.

Or you can pay ridiculously high price and have someone unlock the phone for you.

I left the company so it was their account. It was a phone I had bought though. I will call Tmo and see if I can do this. Thanks.
