Default ringtone problems

Please Login to Remove!

So i made a .wav ringtone of a song that was 20 seconds long for the pearl. I downloaded it on the pearl OTA and it works great when I play it in the media player. I set it as a ringtone, and it rings, but about 10 seconds into the song, it stops, then starts from the beginning.

It almost seems as if it is acting as a regular phone going "ring, ring" instead of just playing the entire song through the end. Is there any way to get this to work/play the whole 20 seconds uninterrupted without cutting it down to a 10 second ring?

Thanks!

That happened to me too only it wouldn't even play more than 3 seconds as a ringtone. I converted it to an mp3 and it plays the whole song now.

Thanks! I always did make my ringers in mp3 format, but for some reason I just made it .wav cus the preloaded ones were in .wav. But everything works fine now and it even plays louder...

oh yeah I use nero wave editor to make my ringers..
