Compare Services with the carriers

I just wanted to know has anyone compared services with the mobile vendors and alll the little fees and data plans etc.

I have T-Mobile

I pay 20.00 for unlimited data
I pay .10 cents for every MMS I send.
I pay 69.00 for National with 1000 anytime minutes.
I think my night time starts at 8 p.m.

Nextel:

$45 unlimited data
~$40 for 500 minutes plus free N/W (after 9pm) with unlimited direct connect
$1 voice mail and caller id
~$3 hardware service plan

The T-Mobile plan I'm looking at is ~$60 for 1000 regular minutes, 0 anytime minutes and that includes unlimited data.

Dam..
I'd love to have that..

Heres my plan with rogers.

$90
25 MB ($7/MB overage)
350 Weekday + Unlimited Evenings & Weekends
Early Evening & Weekends Calling Option: (6pm-8am) Was $5 now $7
2,500 Call Forwarding & Busy/No Answer Minutes
Call Waiting, Group Calling, Detailed Billing & 2,500 Received Text Messages
Every Call Pack (E-Voice Mail/Call&Name Display/Whocall) $12

Detailed Billing: Isn't that sweet. My plan includes Detailed Billing. What would I do without it?

I got them to give me 6 months UNLIMITED data. Not that I go over 25mb much.

But I still pay; $133.91

I too would like to know what other rogers blackberry users pay? One would think your voice mail and caller id would be included in a $90 plan.

I might start calling 911 once a month aswell to get my .50 cents worth. Hehee.

Don't get me started on the $6.95 System FEE.

T Mobile has a good package with the 1,000 anytime minutes (no mobile to mobile or nights and weekend minutes) that includes unlimited data and unlimited SMS (not MMS). All that for just $59.99 month.

Much better than the cingular plan I was with (I was paying $45 for blackberry and $39.99 for 450 anytime minutes and $5 for 200 SMS a month=$90 before taxes).

With T-Mobile:
$49.99 1500 anytime minutes with unlimited N&W
$19.99 Unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service add-on
$14.99 Unlimited any type of messages
$5.99 Assurion insurance

~$101 after taxes. Not cheap, but it works out to be a pretty good deal for what I get, especially because of my minute plan. Definitely far cheaper than any other carrier with similar features.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I was lucky enough to sign up with tmobile for the 39.99 for 1000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, and free mobile to mobile. So I just added the 19.99 for unlimited data and texts. Not too bad, might try to get my family onto a large minute plan since I never use any of mine.

I have the same plan but I'm grandfathered on the $5 early evening weekends. Total: $131.62. The good news is that while I'm still on unlimited data (month 4 of 6; I got that too), I only used 21.3 MB last month, down from 49 Megs my first month. Of course, reinstalling my OS umpteen times and redownloading endless themes and software each time might have had something to do with that.

Hopefully the Today themes will be available while I'm still on unlimited data...

That's exactly why I got T-Mo's Voice Barred BlackBerry Unlimited Data which I should have mentioned in my post.

$59.99 Family 550 minute plan, 2 lines (wife and I)
$45.00 Unlimited BlackBerry
$ 7.98 200 SMS, 50 MMS txt msgs for my wife.

I think it's like $131/mo when you factor in all of the fees taxes (like the one that still funds the spanish-american war).

I'd get T-Mobile, except it doesn't work at my house, or at work (no reception in the building - works fine outside), or the other 60% of the places I'm at 90% of the time. Sort of like my Sprint PCS phone three years ago - only worse. So I am envious of your fellas with those T-Mobile data rates!

I was just looking through all the different companies plans to see how I stand, so I decided to check this forum and up came this thread.

I use Telus Mike, my package was activated April, 2005.

$45 - Unlimited Data (actually unlimited)
$40 - Voice (350 minutes) + Unlimited Evenings/Weekends
$7 - Caller ID, Voicemail, 3-way Bundle
$5 - Extended Evening/Weekends (6pm - 8am)

System Access + Emergency + Tax = $120.12 /CAD

When I was in Florida last month I managed to do 3 MB's of data roaming in 3 days. So I must be using at least 30 MB's a month.

I average about 300 daytime minutes each month, so I think I'm on a pretty decent plan for what I use. I don't think there is a better option in Canada. Anyone?
