Resend yourself the service books either from your BIS account or from options advanced options Host Routing Table click the wheel and then choose register.

I had the same situation. Updated by TMO 7105t to 4.1 and am missgin the browser icon. I rollowing the steps outlined above for the Register under HRT but all I got was an email saying my wireless device has been registered with the carrier )(or somehting like that). No browser icon. I removed the battery to do a reset, but still no browser icon. What am I missing?

Have you tried resending your Service Books from BIS (assuming you are on BIS)?
If so, I would call T-Mobile, get through to BlackBerry support and speak to them.

I am using BES... I will contact T-Mo, but I was reluctant to do that as I am using the unofficial HK CSL 4.1 release and I would suspect they will say thath that is unsupported.

If you are using a BES 3.6, the browser should appear the next time you cradle the BB to a PC connected to your network.
With BES 4.0, it should have reappeared after Enterprise Activation.

Can I try the Enterprise Activation again without screwing up anything?
I have little/no control over the BES that supports our BB's...

You will need the one time use password.
No offense - but this is why we do not allow our end users to upgrade the OS on their BlackBerry...

Wouldn't the user ID and password that it asked for when I did the OS upgrade be the user ID / password I use when I log into the network and outlook?

Nope. When you do an Enterprise Activation it uses a password set specifically for that by the BES Administrator.

If you screwed up your mother's BB then you are in deep trouble. In any event, you better hope she had a backup.

When she comes home she will. YOU WIPED OUT THE DATA AND PROGRAMS. It is wiped out. We can give you instructions for readding the programs, but you wiped it out.
My 13 year old knows much better than to touch my BlackBerry.
Instructions on how to reload the operating system follow.
