Re: issues with 9900
I'm not having those problems. In fact, the 9900 is scary fast by BlackBerry standards.
What have you done....What apps and so forth?

Re: issues with 9900
Couple thoughts....I'm not using twitter or facebook (or the flashlight app). Not saying those are the problem, but it is a difference between us. Only way to know is delete and test.
If you just restored data like contacts,.etc. from your previous BlackBerry I wouldn't give it a second thought. But if you ran the switch device wizard or did a full system restore I would be suspicious of that causing issues. In that case I would consider doing a security wipe and then just restoring PIM data and messages and the like, but not settings.

Re: issues with 9900
options > security > security wipe ....
Pay attention to the settings. If there is an option to delete 3rd party apps, I would select it. Do not select to wipe the media card.

Re: issues with 9900
Wait until it is done. When it finishes the device will reboot. I'm not sure about the hourglass. You should see a progress bar...hopefully by now, or soon. But leave it. Don't pull the battery.

Re: issues with 9900
Ok. You will notice if you keep watching that the progress bar will complete and then start over again, perhaps twice. Again, just wait until the device reboots.

Re: issues with 9900
Use desktop manager to restore just things like the messages database, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes...Use the selective restore option and select just those databases. Don't select any of the settings and options databases. After the selective restore, manually configure all your settings.
I'm not sure this is going to be the cure. But fingers crossed.

Re: issues with 9900
Post an update when you get the chance.
By the way, I would only add the apps back one at a time and test for 24 hours before adding the next.
Hopefully the crashing and slowness is gone. Battery life may not be any better, however.
