Default Problems deleting apps

Please Login to Remove!

There's a NFL app and the Icon Vcast app that comes with the phone. But since I made the 6OS update it made a copy of both of them and now I have two apps that are exactly the same. How do I get rid of it?

What you want to do is this, I know it says google talk, but it is universal. You can do this with any third party application. This is from KB05109

First highlight the Application and select delete.

To delete the modules for Google Talk(or any other app) for BlackBerry smartphones, complete the following steps:

On the Home screen, go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications.
If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 or earlier, go to Options > Applications.

Note: Depending on the theme running on your BlackBerry smartphone, you may need to click Settings then Options.

Display the menu and select Modules.
Scroll to net_rim_bb_qm_google, display the menu and select Delete.
When prompted to reset the BlackBerry smartphone, click No.
Scroll to net_rim_bb_qm_google_resource_en, display the menu and select Delete.
When prompted to reset the BlackBerry smartphone, click Yes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Task 3

After the BlackBerry smartphone has been reset and the Home screen appears, register the BlackBerry smartphone on the wireless network. For instructions, see KB00510.

Note: the name of the modules will resemble the NFL app's name.

Did you try rebooting your device by removing the battery?
