What model are you using? Need to know the model number as there are several different curves. And your profile says 7100t, so please update.

Plug it in and leave it plugged in for a good hour or so and then remove the battery and put it back in.

And update your profile to show the correct device.

If it doesn't turn on after a couple hours on the charger, try removing the SD card and see if it will turn on. If not, try a new battery (OEM, not a used one).

Did you try a NEW battery?

Did the device get dropped or get wet?

New OEM (RIM) 8520 Batteries are about $15 USD plus international shipping. If you need a web link, PM me.

In the meantime, try a friends 8520 battery. 8530 should fit too. And check the contacts for corrosion (the little springy metal "V's" that the battery contacts push against).

Most Li-Ion BB batteries only last 300 charge/discharge cycles before they wear out.
