If anyone understands what you are asking I'll be surprised.

What is "bt fon wifi thing"? Spell it out.

Please edit your post so it is readable and understandable. Most of us do not speak text messaging lingo.

And please do not double post. Only one is required. The second one has been deleted.

Thanks

BT FON is ISP British Telecom's Free Open Network. Every subscriber that has their 'BTHomehub' can opt into an additional service that essentially shares your broadband with every other subscriber, thus making your internet service accessible throughout the whole of the UK for members. At least that is the idea as I understand it.

BT have released applications for Android and Iphone but have really dragged their heels with Blackberry since this service has been available via BT for over a year. I think what the original poster was interested in was if it is possible to access the BT FON service without needing an application (or if there is a way round it).

I've accessed the FON today via the web on my laptop and it just redirects to a login page which when i put in my BT user details lets me access the internet here elsewhere in UK for free. However if I try on my blackberry it connects to the BTFON network but the browser doesn't prompt or redirect to ask for those login details.

Hope this helps clarify there was a bit of info at ( BT . com / freewifi )

On BT's community forums I've seen a few requests to BT to work on an application for Blackberry users but I guess they don't see it as a big enough market not sure seems odd.

Still doesn't fix the OP's use of text speak.
