Default Should I upgrade?

Please Login to Remove!

About a month ago I purchased my first Verizon smartphone from Ebay. An 8330. I love it! I have an sd card in it. I still have 32,715,123 bytes available. I do notice I get the hourglass quite a bit when searching the web, but I eventually get what I need. I like that the camera has a flash. I picked the 8330 over the 8530 because of the flash vs getting wifi. But I am wondering if I should have gotten the 8530 instead since it has OS 5.0, a faster processor and wifi.

Is the OS 5.0, faster processor and wifi really a huge upgrade?
How do the 2 cameras compare?
Has anybody had the 8330 and now have the 8530?

Thanks so much!

Yes, in my opinion.

They both kinda stink, actually.

Several of my users did this upgrade and all were happy that they did.
In fact, the biggest positive difference for my users was the trackpad over the trackball.

The still cameras on both are mediocre. You can certainly tell what you're looking at, but it's nothing to jump up and down about. The video camera on the 8530, on the other hand, is a huge upgrade. The colors are much more vivid and the videos play back in full screen. You can also choose from different zoom levels, though you must do so before you begin recording.

Maybe I should go with the 9330?

If that's an option, I'd definitely take it.
