I just got an Otterbox case and found a pleasant side effect by using it. I am new to touch screen phones and was so frustrated by how quickly the battery would drain. It would be at 25% in just 8 hours while at work. No calls, limited internet/tx use and only one feed running in the background (fb).
With this Otterbox case it makes the lock button stay locked and also keeps the off screen. Right now at 9+ hours I'm at 70%! The case acts as a buffer which prevents unintentionally pressing the lock button. Makes the $40 price tag worth it

I use a 9700 holster on mine so it wont unlock

I get a day to a day and a half on the battery with email, BBM, phone calls, wireless calendar updates and some internet.
