I feel so dumb but I forgot the password that I set to access the password keeper application and now I'm up to 8 out of 10 possible attempts. Does anyone know how I can reset the password? What happens when I hit my tenth failed attempt? Please help!

This is the password keeper app password not the general blackberry password....

It will still wipe out my blackberry? Do you know if I can just back everything up now and the keep trying to guess my password and before hitting 10 tries just restore from backup and try again?

It will wipe out anything in the Password Keeper application, not the entire device itself. I too have made this mistake.

thanks kgarner........that's what i thought, the previous poster should not have posted erroneous info like that without really knowing.

I deletetd the password keeper app and am now using cryptmagic, which is far better than the password keeper app
