You can try updating to OS 4.5.0.182 like wabbit says. It's here:

Later OS 4.5 versions were definitely better than earlier ones, but the problem didn't get fixed until 4.6, which unfortunately was never released for the 8320. Putting all your pictures/music/custom ringtones etc, on a media card should help if you're not doing that already. If you start with only 11 MB of free memory you're under the safety limit already. Since you can't install BB apps to the media card, you have to clean out a bunch of apps you have installed.
There is no "detector app" to find memory leak. Some apps are known memory hogs though. There are some other things you can do, but in your case it sounds like it will not buy you enough free memory to solve your issue. Check this for those little things you can do:
