Default Which Log to investigate

Please Login to Remove!

I'm looking for log entries related to a failed application installation pushed by a software configuration.

What folder should I be looking in?

Somewhere on here is some Visual Basic I have written that searches through all the log files for a given string, you may find it useful. Think it's called LogAnalysis.

I take no credit for the functionality I just added a "nice" front end to someone elses code.

penguin is right it is in the policy log as the policy service is responsible for delivering the app. Depending on which BES version you are you can also look on the

Software Config Status Tab (4.1)

or

Search for Deployment Jobs (5.0)
