The following message appears when I try to open this application:
"Network Unavailable:This application requires a data connection, and some BlackBerry devices require reconfiguration to work properly."

Anyone knows what should I do?

Please elaborate more, do you have a data plan? If not, google maps is pretty useless as no maps are stored locally, but downloaded via data plan.

No. they use data to download the maps.

There are many for other types of phones, but I don't know of any local (on your phone) gps software for the blackberry. Check out this link for some leads, maybe the Garmin or wisepilot? http://www.blackberryforums.com/gps-...ations-bb.html
