headphone jack doesnt work since new update

Ever since I updated to .65 it won't recognize anything plugged into the jack, headphones or car jack. It especially bothers me because I'm a musician and my bb is my mp3. I've been tryin to retrograde but one the first step of install when ur supposed to select what port the phone is hooked up to there is none to select and won't let me check the auto. If anyone knows how to solve either problem u can have my first born child haha
