Hello, I have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection on an XP Workstation and once I did, BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager no longer works. SEP does have built in Firewall (Network Threat Protection) Are there any special configurations that need to be put in place for this to work properly? I have posted the same question to Symantec, and I am awaiting a response.

Its Symantec so probably. Did it ask you the first time you ran DM to add it to trusted programs list? If it didn't it might have automatically blocked it go into your settings and find a list of program permissions. Def going to be an issue with SEP rather than DM I would imagine. I stopped using them cause they embed themselves to deep into your computer.

I am in agreement with this. I will need to check with the BB pro at work, I am the SEP admin, SEP is a bit rugged and I am certain it is on their end. I will advise of further progress during the week.
