I have a new notification icon that has popped up on my screen and I cannot figure out what it is. It's not in the book and I searched previous threads and found no info.

The icon has 2 "less thans" next to a yellow telephone icon

i.e - <<"angled telephone"

What is this?

I think its a missed call, but i could be wrong. Go to your messages folder and check for that.

its not a missed call. Nothing new or unopened shows up in my msg box.

Did you turn on call forwarding?

Edit: this can be done either via

Phone app > Options > Call forwarding

as far as i can tell i do not have a call forwarding option

and i tried to make a picture... and the forums chew it up

It is call forwarding. I just set the Call Fowarding on my 8330 and it shows the icon you're describing.
