I currently have the Desktop manager set up to Sync by Tour with Outlook 2003 calendar Two Ways AND Transfer items within a range of days = 9999, 9999

This puts over 7,000 appts. on my phone!

I don't mind my blackberry not having all my past appointments but I do not want it to delete my old appointments in Outlook.
In my BB I also set it up to keep my appts. forever.

What settings would be best for me?

A one way sync where Outlook wins on conflict. Then just make sure everything in Outlook is exctly the way you want it.

Another thought is to archive any appts more than let's say two weeks old. This way they are not in the sync?
